Si estás en el centro de Seattle, será mejor que destines un día para visitar el mercado local. Como en todas las ciudades, hay gente que se establece en la calle para vender sus productos, ya sean hechos en casa, cultivados de manera orgánica o simplemente lo que ya no quieren. Pero si eres de los que prefiere comprar en lugares establecidos, también hay espacio para ti.

If you’re in Downtown Seattle, you have to spend one day and visit Pike Place Market. As in all cities, there are people who are established in the street selling their products, whether homemade, organically grown or just the stuff they do not want anymore. But if you are someone who prefers to buy in established places, there is also market for you.
Pike Place Market es el lugar que visité hoy. Muchos pensarán que es un lugar pequeño donde se venden toda clase de mariscos, frutas, semillas, flores, quesos y otros alimentos, pero la maravilla está en explorar los 3 pisos que componen este mercado, no te quedes sólo con la experiencia de las primeras tiendas.
Yo bajé uno a uno los pisos y me encontré con una tienda de comics donde puedes encontrar guiones de películas, piezas de acción, comics, dvd de anime y mucho más. Su nombre es Golden Age Collectables.

Pike Place Market is the place I visited today. Many think it is a small place where all kind of seafood, fruits, seeds, flowers, cheeses and other food are sold, but the wonder is in exploring the 3 floors of this market. Do not stay at the first shop.
I went down stairs one by one, and found a comic book store where you can find movie scripts, action pieces, comics, anime dvds and more. The store name is Golden Age Collectables.
Otro lugar que llamó mi atención fue una tienda de magia, donde por unos cuantos dólares una adivina te dirá la suerte. Si entras a Magic Shop encontrarás trucos kits completos para sorprender a tus amigos o hijos (Cual sea el caso).

Another place that caught my attention was a magic shop, where for a few dollars a fortune teller tells your luck. If you go into to the Magic Shop you will find complete tricks kits to amaze your friends or children (Whatever the case).
Y el toque mexicano no podría faltar. Encontré una tienda latina, donde el vendedor era un asiático (Hay algo más extraño?),aunque encontré otra de joyería y alebrije en donde los mismos Diego y Frida me recibieron. Había artesanía traída de todas partes de México, desde el barro hasta la talavera. La verdad me dieron ganas de comprar muchas cosas, pero estaban carísimas, así que preferí esperar a regresar a México y comprarlas allá.

And the Mexican flair I could not miss. I found a Latin store where the seller was Asian (Is there anything else strange?) But I also found a jewelry and alebrije shop, where Diego and Frida welcomed me. There were crafts brought from all parts of Mexico, from the mud to the talavera. Actually I wanted to buy many things, but they were very expensive, so I decided to wait until I return to Mexico and buy them there.
Para el final les dejo el mejor lugar que encontré en Pike Place Market, se llama “The Studio” y se sitúa en el tercer piso hacia abajo. Es una galería de arte con mucho color, que alteró mis sentidos y no pude resistir tomar unas cuantas fotos Les dejo algunas a ver que opinan.
Por cierto, entrevisté a una de las dueñas y me comentó que el jueves habrá un ArtWalk por Downtown Seattle así que allí estaré.

By the end I departed the best place I found in Pike Place Market is called “The Studio”. It is located on the third floor down. It is an art gallery with lots of color. I mean everywhere, which altered my senses and I could not resist taking a few pictures. Here there are some photos. let me know what you think.
By the way, I interviewed one of the owners and she told me that on Thursday there will be an ArtWalk in Downtown Seattle so I will be there.
